He looks a bit crouched down. Hiding his identity!
Lisl: Yes - he swam around like that so I think it is natural to him

Ah, it dipped its bill in a pot of Dulux paint Lisl.
Lisl: That's the reason, thank you, Chad
Je ne le connais pas du tout ..
Lisl: It was new to me, too, Claudine
He is deeply regretting poking his nose into that pot of paint Lisl
Lisl: He does look a little self-conscious, Bill

Oh, he looks funny and very like Donald Duck!
Lisl: He made me laugh, poor thing - I bet everyone laughs
It's a Ruddy Duck - an import from N.America which has established a breeding colony in the West country.
Lisl: Thank you, Tom
Ooh. I thought I would identify it but Tom got there first. He is a little different though without the black head. Perhaps it is a juvenile male.
Lisl: It looks different from the North American Ruddy Ducks I have watched in the wild
What a beautiful blue beak! Friendship
Lisl: Stunning, thank you ruthiebear
A bit of a strange looking character with that blue beak.
Lisl: Most odd

Lisl: I though his blue bill was stunning
i have never seen such a beak, Lisl. is it naturally occurring?
Lisl: New for me, too, Ayush, but yes
He looks like he's been painted by a joker, Lisl. A dab of black on top of his head, brown for his body and why not blue for his bill. Great shot!
Lisl: Thank you, Beverly - he certainly looked odd
