This is my maternal Grandmother - Suzanne Hélène Isembiel, of French and German descent. I think she is in her nurse's uniform during WWI.

Cor, beauty seems to go through you family Lisl. I love this picture of your grandmother. Which side was she fighting on?
Lisl: For us - she was born in England. Her father was the son of a valet, her mother the daughter of a French Count - now, there's a story!
