the blue eye is so surprising to me

i never thought about a bird; especially a black bird, having blue eyes

gorgeous combination
Lisl: It may just be how the light has caught the eye, sherri - I Must be more observant, as I see Jackdaws every day.. Thank you

A wonderful image, and I see some berries as food for this raven (?).

This is most definitely a Jackdaw. Seasonally, during the nesting season, we get four or five gate-crashing our garden for easy pickings from the bird table
Lisl: Same here, Richard. I call them the "heavy gang"
What as handsome bird in the corvid family I am assuming. We don't have them here.
Lisl: Yes - this is a Jackdaw, Mary
excellent shot and i like that eye, Lisl.
Lisl: Thank you, Ayush
