I wonder what exactly it is they want to change, and why Lisl?
Lisl: This is pre-Extinction Rebellion, but may be on the same theme
Quite charming, I like it very much
Lisl: Thank you, Marie
Bravo pour l'idée
Lisl: Yes, it was quite eye-catching, Claudine

Very good, Lisl. I like the garland, and expect our famed cyclist ware one just like it.
Lisl: Some have flowers in their cycle baskets
Critical mass of what I wonder?
Lisl: I can't imagine, Bill

Ah, now I know some of the answers to the questions being posted here. The Critical Mass Cycle event started in London with over 1000 cyclists taking part. The idea was to "reclaim the streets" and highlight the lack of safe cycling facilities (Really? London is overwhelmed now with "cycle superhighways"). I rather foolishly supported the first one held in Southampton when around 20 cyclists turned up. I was told that the plan was to cycle as slowly as possible in a big group to force the traffic to slow down. I left without taking part! That is not how cyclists should behave; we need to share a limited amount of road space and be considerate to each other on the roads.
Lisl: Thank you, Alan - I am pleased you could explain what it was all about; and I commend your attitude

What a great find, a sign of our time.
Lisl: It is, very much
Effective for getting attention for the sign.
Lisl: Yes - it jumped out. I will be going by tomorrow, but I guess it will be gone
I like the presentation of the bike but after reading Alan's notes I don't agree with what these people are wanting.
Lisl: Yes - Alan's explanation was quiet enlightening
i love the bicycle mounted for The Gallery Lisl... the hand written sign sounds like an important bike parade but what do they want to change... i hope that it's Global Warming....petersmile
Lisl: Please see what Alan wrote - he was very succinct
What a charming find Lis! smile
Lisl: Yes - usual place for good finds, Martin - Bristol
