That is gorgeous.
Lisl: Thank you, Michael
I like the balance of land and sky...
Lisl: I tried it with less land, but preferred it like this, so thank you for your endorsement, Larry

Lisl: Thank you so much, sherri
Three nice layers, Elisabeth. Well seen.
Lisl: Thank you, Frank - taken on yesterday's walk
Oooh fantastic colors, Lisl! Beautiful!
Lisl: Thank you, Elizabeth - it is not often that I have seen earth this red locally
Joli contraste de couleurs, j'aime le ciel.
Lisl: Thank you, Martine

If this was taken yesterday I expect you got wet Lisl
Lisl: Believe it or not (and this was taken yesterday near Compton Dando), we had little more than five minutes' drizzle!

Crikey! Looking like a different world form that of merry England. I hope that the storm did materialise and bring a little relief to the parched earth.
Lisl: Unfortunately it cleared away and we had hotter sun than forecast (like in your area yesterday). A little drizzle later helped not at all

Very symbolic of Somerset that red earth. It reminds me of youthful trips from Bath to WSM.
Lisl: Happy memories, Chad
Some great contrasts at work here. Very striking.
Lisl: It was a strange day, to say the least
Great shot Lisl, we had a sky like that yesterday afternoon complete with some rain, and then it was gone as quickly as it came.
Lisl: This one cleared away without a rain-drop, Brian
Just like the red clay of Devon.....horrible when wet grin

Cracking picture though
Lisl: Yeah - really sticky! And thank you

Great colours, lisl. I think either the fabulous sky or the rich oils should have been cropped to make a thinner layer...I personally, would have saved the sky
Lisl: I tried by cropping the earth for a thinner layer, but it didn't strike me as quite as pleasing, Richard

Crazy colors!
Lisl: Hardly enhanced, just more contrast
Could be Frank in Arizona!

Wonderful layers smile
Lisl: They jumped out at me, though not so bright on the ground. The camera seemed to enhance them
