It is amazing that signs like this need to be posted. Som owners should not be allowed to have dogs.
Lisl: It's hard to believe, Michael
Anti-clerical dogs...
Lisl: Naughty dogs!
C'est malheureux dêtre obligé de mettre ce genre de panneau , c'est si evident de garder ces endroits propres !
Bonne journée Lisl
Lisl: We seem to have problems like this everywhere, Claudine. So many dogs and so many bad dog-owners

Very amusing Lisl, even though I suspect it isn't meant to be
Lisl: A serious and much talked-of subject, Chris
The dogs are more likely to take notice than some of the owners grin
Lisl: It's even worse when the owners pick it up and toss the bag

I thought the same, Lisl... it are the owners that should take their reading glasses and bags.....
Lisl: That's it, Astrid; but the owners often toss their bags into the bushes

I learn more and more about wild life's ability to read , Lisl.
Lisl: Standards have been improving since Victorian times, Richard!
A notice that really shouldn't be needed.
Lisl: In a place like Bibury, too
I hope the humour was intended.
Lisl: I hope it made its point, Mary

It's a pity that the owners can't, though!
Lisl: Good thought, Alan
Or stupid churchwarden, thinking they can!
Lisl: I think he knew what he was doing!!
my dog knows what i am saying to him Lisl... but he doesn't read yet....petersmile
Lisl: He's still young, Peter

This made me laugh even though there is a serious message behind it.
Lisl: Those who appreciate the humour, laugh;those who are guilty, don't
They can't?!
Another good one, Lisl!
Reminds me of a lady who called up a radio station complaining that "Deer Crossing" signs were being erected where deer tend to be hit regularly - it seemed so cruel to entice them to cross where it's so dangerous... She was serious. smile
Lisl: My goodness - I can really believe it
Humour used in the endeavour of change!! Gold!
Lisl: If only it works............
