scenes like this are very unique for me to see
Lisl: Yes, they must be, sherri. We have a wealth of stuff like this in our churches and cathedrals, but this doesn't mean I don't still find them exiting to photograph
That is an amazing piece of art.
Lisl: The whole effigy has been executed with such care, Michael
Amazingly well preserved!
Lisl: I imagine the colour is original, too

It is surprising to see the original colour like this
Lisl: It is always good to see original colour - I wonder how bright he used to be - dazzling, I should imagine
The colorful details just POP, Lisl. How extraordinary.
Lisl: It is amazing when you think how old the colour is

Wonderful close-up of this Bishop. Love the colours here and the wear.

I think this one is stone dead.
Lisl: You could be right, Louis! Alabaster
If the colours haven't been retouched throughout the years, Lisl, it is a great testament to the quality of the paint used.
Lisl: I think these are original colours, Beverly - and yes - what quality
Resting in peace, save for nosy photographers...
Lisl: He must get peered at many times a day, Larry - he is very strikling
