My last posting for a few days. I am off walking my favourite trail again - the Cotswold Way - or at least half of it  - with my Cousin Philip.

Cap'n Fido seems to have everything under control.

There is a Doveton bloke in the Cotswolds, down Syde way, and he seems to be snowed in...perhaps you could deliver him some emergency Gin and Stillton to keep him alive until the thaw...
Lisl: Now there's a thought. If only The Way passed his door, we'd be OK for coffee and cake

looks to me like the dog went swimming too

really nice image
Lisl: Yes - he is really worn out, thank you
Happy walking, Elisabeth. smile
Lisl: Thank you, Frank - just can't seem to keep away, and it is delightful in the spring with the beech woods and bluebells
A very nice shot of life...
Enjoy your walk! Stay safe!
Lisl: Thank you on all counts, Elizabeth. I really want to walk it alone, but Michael would worry too much

J'aime le chien qui dort sur le pont et le linge qui sèche. Bon voyage !
Lisl: A really homely picture, all on a boat. Thanks for your good wishes
The Life of Riley (after getting the laundry done), Lisl. I always love seeing this kind of "normal life" on boats for public view. HA!

Enjoy your walk in the Cotswolds...and stay safe.
Lisl: Certainly not much privacy on a boat in harbour, Ginnie. And thanks for your good wishes

Home is where the heart is

Have a good time on the Cotswold Way Lisl, and don't wear the poor man out..
Lisl: Between us we are a couple of crocks -my cousin has a dicey knee and I have a painful hip!

Have a great walk with Cousin Philip and please stay safe, Lisl.
What a great picture of daily life along a canal.
Lisl: Thank you for both your comments, Astrid. The walk should be safe, but is decidedly strenuous
Scene de vie interessante ...bonne sortie ..
Lisl: Merci bien, Claudine

Have a good time and I hope the weather is kind to you Lisl.
Lisl: Forecast is looking good - at the moment. Thank you, Chad
I retain that even on a boat we have the washing to be made and that a good dog has a good time there
Lisl: Yes - a proper domestic scene, Marie

The bicycle should make old Trimmy a happy soul. What a neighbourhood, where you have to get the dog to look after the washing.

Happy walking.
Lisl: He's not doing a very good job!

Sleeping on duty !. I nope no-one walks off with the shopping !
I hope your 'dream walk' provides all that you are expecting of it and that Philip's dodgy knee holds out.
Lisl: Thanks very much for that, Hugh

For shopping read 'washing' !
Lisl: OK!
I love the dog splayed out on the deck, just like my daughters Bulldog these days now he is getting on. We are off to the Peak District for a few days next week, we will not be walking the same sort of distances as you and Phillip I suspect, have a good time.
Lisl: I expect you will have some pleasant strolls, Brian & Maureen. Have a good time

I don't think much of the flags on the boat; looks more like household washing to me smile Enjoy your walk along the way; I guess you no longer need a map now. I've given up my walk today; I was fed up with being buffeted by quite strong winds and I had visions of being blown off the cliffs.
Lisl: Pity to miss your walk, but discretion needs to win........ It is pretty breezy down here too, and a cold start forecast for tomorrow early for the "off" from Bath Abbey
AN unusual boat scene. I like the homey feel.
Lisl: I bet it is really comfortable on board
The laundry and the dog are both out to dry. Have a wonderful stroll. it is our turn next for a new hip.
Lisl: Thank you, Mary. Hope you don't have to wait too long for a new hip

Lisl: Everything relaxed, thank you, Ayush
Fun, a decidedly original laundry.
Lisl: Certainly different, claudio
The dog adds a lot... have a great trip...
Lisl: Thank you, Larry. Touching base overnight

Lovely photo.

Enjoy your holiday, I look forward to seeing the photos when you return from your travels.
Lisl: Thank you, Cherie. By the way, I haven't been able to get into your website for quite a long time now - I just get an advert to create one
have a great walk Lisl... and be safe....petersmile
Enjoy your trip - you'll probably find somewhere like this to hang your washing smile
