Excellent detail in these windows, Lisl.
Lisl: Part of a very lovely window, Ray
A very tender scene...

Lisl: So clever in glass, sherri

Very nice too, archetypical church symbolism aren't they Lisl
Lisl: Very much so, Chris. I have reason to believe this window is by Christopher Whall, but I have never seen his lambs quite as "pretty" as this before

Oh, so wonderful - and look at the magic blue! I would like to see this stained glass window!
Lisl: I will send you a picture of the whole window, Philine
Beautiful details Lisle.
Lisl: It is from a very lovely window, Marie
A lovely detail Lisl
Lisl: A lot of other nice detail, but no more sheep, Bill
What a beautiful small part of the window, I must pay more attention to details rather than the whole thing sometimes.
Lisl: On occasion the detail is the best part
What a delight to see, Lisl. YOu cannot beat stained glass!
Lisl: I agree - and some of our modern stained glass is absolutely stunning. This is about the turn of the 20th Century

Jolis petits moutons.
Lisl: Very much so
I never imagined it was a window, I had mistaken it for a tapestry.
Lisl: Yes - stained glass

Sheep in stained glass windows always have a stylised look to them. Its fine piece of work, though.
Lisl: Not quite the real thing
the realism is an indication of the skilled work done, Lisl.
Lisl: It is really well executed, and I think by my favourite stained glass workshop of Christopher Whall, who was active late 19th Century - early 20th Century
