Petrol Pump?

Un objet original, c'est bizarre qu'il n'est pas été enlevé.
Lisl: Yes - that is strange to leave it just as it is
I really like what they've done with it.... whatever it is! smile
Lisl: An odd thing to come across in a Cotswold village
That is a great bit of repurposing.
Lisl: I suppose it is degrading with dignity, Michael

Yes indeed it was before enjoying a change of career Lisl
Lisl: Thanks for the confirmation, Chris
Surprenant de l'avoir laissé ainsi à  la vue de tous ..
La photo reste très originale du coup
Lisl: And so it becomes a talking point, Claudine

I should think so. I can remember a garage in Somerset in the late 1960s were petrol was still pumped into the car by a hand pump. I like how nature has taken over here.
Lisl: Thanks for that, Alan
There is one not far from Chedworth roman villa as I recall. I think I posted it on Shutterchance year ago.
Lisl: Could it perhaps be the same one, Bill?

Yes...great find, Lisl...although our Al will probably try to convince you it is a goat...
Lisl: Even Al has got it right, Ray

Sad to see it rotting away Lisl.
Lisl: It will disappear in the next few years, I trow
Interesting to see the innards after such a time, this one never heard of litres
Lisl: I wonder when it started village life, Martin
Certainly interesting for passers by. Good smells too if you kick at the lavender while perusing the pump.
Lisl: I thought the lavender looked good, and no doubt I smelled it at the time I took this
Now an art object!
Lisl: It seems both Bill and I both found it so

Lovely photograph, I wouldn't have guessed that it was a petrol pump!
Lisl: I wasn't sure either, Cherie
Ran out of gas long ago...
Lisl: A very long time ago.........
A collector!
Lisl: It certainly is, Marie
yes definitely a petrol pump, I hope it's jeust left to wither away in its own time.
Lisl: I guess it will be, adorned with plants
