This tree was an old man... and had some lean years, by the look of it...
Lisl: It certainly will have experienced shortish periods of drought, Elizabeth
This is a new sight...
Lisl: A different sort of wood today, Larry

A unique pattern like a finger print Lisl. Funny that you and Mary both feature cut timber today.
Lisl: That is odd - I will look straightaway, Chad

A striking image Lisl. I always enjoy the aroma of pine, which I think this is, when sawn
Lisl: You are quite correct, Chris, and it did smell good
Ah the smell of pine smile
Lisl: I know what you mean, Bill
Very beautiful details and light of these cut trunks. I like this red wood
Lisl: It is much more attractive when cut like this, Marie

THOSE TREES ARE NOT PARTICULARLY OLD ...OOPS CAPS SORRY
Lisl: If you want old, Richard, take a look at the rest of the week's offerings
Such fine detail showing the resin runs
Lisl: It looked so inviting shining in the sun and showing all the detail
One must have a lot of patience to want to count the rings on these.
Lisl: It looks as if some have, Brian!
superbe rendu!! amitiés
Lisl: Many thanks, jean pierre
That is great. Such beautiful colour.
Lisl: Always so much brighter when just cut, Michael
really liking the concentric lines, Lisl. makes me wonder about the spot to the left of the center in the trunk in the middle of the image.
Lisl: Looks like a knot of some sort, Ayush
