Ha Ha [in Thai... 55]

Sheep loves cabbage!
Lisl: Is that a sheep? Well, I should have saved it for Saturday
What detail!
Lisl: I am searching for the rest, Elizabeth, but so far cab't find it in my archive

Feet on a lamb is a repetitive scene...
Lisl: It always fascinates me to see the different "foot-rests" on tombs
i hope the cabbage was worth getting that close to the boots, Lisl.
Lisl: It couldn't resist with that garish green, Ayush

At least they have left the goat some greenery to sustain itself through eternity Lisl
Lisl: At a time when kindness to animals wasn't high on the agenda, too
Surprenante photo ..est ce que c'est une personne spéciale?
Un berger ?
Bonne journée à  toi Lisl
Lisl: I think this was the tomb of someone quite wealthy, rather than a shepherd. But I expect the sheep or goat has some significance. Bonne journée à toi aussi

a fascinating detail of the tomb - and a goat or a sheep instead of a loyal dog.
Lisl: Quite an unusual foot-rest, Philine

Now what does it signify to have you feet on a goat Lisl?
Lisl: I just can't imagine, Chad, but sometimes the footrest was an heraldic beast from the deceased's family coat of arms.
Looks like this was meant for two
Lisl: Well spotted, Bill!

Ooooeerr.. a Sheep Monday! Or is it a goat? I would have have hoped that someone would have taken my boots off and used the animal as a foot warmer.
Lisl: But poor man is set in stone now and will never get his feet warmed
I see here riding boots of beautiful size which contrast with the sweetness of the small sheep which are in their foot. Doubtless the grave of a knight...
Lisl: I believe it is, Marie, certainly someone with money

Someone should have told that goat that it's ill waiting for dead men's shoes - see where it got him.
Lisl: Yes, and he will be there forever after too

Lovely detail, it's good to see the goat has some food smile
Lisl: It is when you think how long he has been there!
Seeing a Gioat makes me think of things of the supernatural.
Lisl: A Devil perhaps?
Fancy having to spend centuries with those smelly old boots up against your wool!
Lisl: Horrid, Tom!
That is amazing. The sculpture was sure making a statement.
Lisl: It is unusual even for a monument in our ancient churches.
Chris featured a bird but a lamb certainly seems more comfortable.
Lisl: And another on Wednesday, Mary
