Crikey! What a beautiful little thing. I especially like the markings on the wings.
Lisl: It's one of the more unusual moths
He is magnificent this butterfly. Is it a moth? In any case I never believe to have seen.
Lisl: It is a moth, Marie - Miltochrista miniata
That is what one would call a very attractive moth.
Lisl: It is one of the prettiest I know, Brian
We have similarly coloured moths but I have not noticed if they have markings. Wonderful.
Lisl: It's one of my favourites, Mary, but i see it only once or twice a year if I am lucky

Aw great capture! Looks like you were able to get up close smile
Lisl: I had trapped it overnight and by morning it was asleep - prior to being released, Emily
Very pretty. I had not heard of this variety before, let alone see one.
Lisl: It is not that common, Cherie, and unlikely to be seen unless trapped overnight

On ne peut pas dire qu'il soit beau...mais il a du caractère et une certaine allure.
Lisl: Thank you, JMS! It is a moth I am always delighted to see
My goodness, what a beauty!
