Everything about the subject and the image is exquisite, Lisl.
Lisl: Thank you so much, Ray - last week a female was ovipositing on the garden pond, so in years to come hopefully we will have our own "home-grown" ones!
Magnifique macro de cette demoiselle.
Lisl: Thank you, Martine

What a lovely shot. I don't know how to keep them still.

A fantastic image Lisl - we haven't seen any dragonflies this year :-(
Lisl: I have seen fewer than usual, but our pond had done well - as well as the Emperor, we have had Ruddy Darter, Large Red Damselfly, Common Blue Damselfly, Southern Hawker and Broad-bodied Chaser
Beautiful catch here.
Lisl: Thank you, Jacquelyn

An excellent close-up. I have tried similar with my Coolpix, but the camera is just too slow for fidgety insects and birds.
Lisl: I usually use my Lumix for insects, but sometimes the Coolpix comes up trumps
Stunning detail smile
Lisl: Thank you kindly, Nikki
