Lisl: It's a good job he doesn't realise what he looks like, Ray

LOL why did they do this?
Lisl: The hood is to keep the flies off her face, Emily. A lot of horses have them in the summer, but not such a silly one as this
at a first glance, i feel this horse does not care too much about that hood, Lisl. i assume there is an explanation behind that?
Lisl: To keep the flies off her head, Ayush. Usually thee hoods are plain

If only it knew, it would be mortified Lisl.
Lisl: By its stance, perhaps it does know, Chad!
Oh my, Lisl. You do find the most interesting things ever...as often Astrid does (like her image today).
Lisl: I suppose it is because I am always out on foot, Ginnie. Yes - I saw Astrid's unusual post

A very creative hood Lisl
Lisl: I expect to see more like them, Chris. More horses than ever are sporting protective headgear now

Haha- but the poor horse cannot see the dear Lisl! But I read your replies.
Lisl: I hope that he can see through the material, Philine
Rho...je ne savais pas que cela existait ...Mais si c'est pour son bien tant mieux mais ...
Bonne journée
Lisl: Il sera plus à l'aise avec ça. Bonne journée
They put dogs in silly outfits so I suppose it was only a matter of time grin
Lisl: At least this is functional, too, but so silly

Ohhhh poor horsey! No doubt its own thought it was hilarious but it just makes the horse look more like a jackass rather than a horse.
Lisl: It does, Alan - and she seems quite woe-begone

Can he see something?
Lisl: I am hoping the head-gear is made of see-through material - I suspect it is, Anne

Well, it has teeth and hooves to defend itself. Or maybe it has some humour, with reference to the fly mask.
This is the saddest thing I have ever seen.
Lisl: A lot of horses are wearing hoods this time of year to keep off the biting insects. Most are plain - this one is just silly - but I think they are all- see-through, Mary

Playing 'hide and seek'??? If I was the horse I wanted to know the phone-number of the 'counsel against horse abuse'... smile smile... great find and I know for sure it made you laugh smile
Lisl: I am pretty sure the horse can see through the hood, Astrid

Drôle d'accoutrement, comique certes...mais comment fait-il pour voir ?
Lisl: I think the material of the hood is semi-transparent
Both the horse and the photographer, I assume! Weird!
Lisl: Both indeed, Tom

What an indignity for the poor animal smile
Lisl: It's a good thing he doesn't know, Anne. The other horses in the field had plain hoods, but I am sure they are all see-through
I almost feel sorry for the poor thing having to wear this.
Lisl: Fortunately he doesn't know what he looks like. It is keeping off the flies and is undoubtedly see-through
it's a shame and it feels laughed at by the other horses Lisl....petersmile
Lisl: The other horses has plain hoods; some had body covers against the flies as well
