Superb little Nautilus imitators..
Lisl: Big ambitions, Ray
That is a wonderful image.
Lisl: Thank you, Michael - it didn't really look like this in real life!

Beautifully photographed Lisl.
Lisl: Thank you, Chad. I spend a lot of time with my camera by the pond in the garden - it is bursting with life at the moment

oooerr.. they are tiny. I wonder if the leaf is a food source?
Lisl: Water snails eat vegetation and algae along with the microscopic creatures that naturally live in a healthy ecosystem, so perhaps they might decide to graze on that leaf
jolie prise!! amitiés
Lisl: Merci bien
They appear to be made of metal. How beautiful!
Lisl: Shining in the sun, Mary. I thought I had lost all my Ramshorns Snails, so was delighted to find these still in the pond
I could do with some of these little beauties in my tiny pondette
Lisl: I thought I had lost all mine as I hadn't seen any for several years, but they must have been there all the time

C'est beau et surprenant la nature.
Lisl: It never ceases to surprise!
Oh they're lovely! I think snails are amazing
Lisl: And too often overlooked. I much prefer them to slugs!
Tiny and pretty smile
Lisl: They shone that day in the sunshine, Cherie

De jeunes planorbes
Lisl: They are, and I was excited to see them on my pond - I had some years ago and I thought they had all disappeared
