Beware

My walking friends and I thought this was a joke, and happily ignored it... only to hear a rumble of hooves - in the same field but fortunately some way above us photoblog image B015.JPG

I'd seen one of these before somewhere! Very clever! I can imagine the startle it gave you!
Lisl: Yes - a herd of cows with this bull cavorted across the top of the field

Consider yourself adequately forewarned...
Lisl: I won't make the same mistake again, Ray

Say no more Lisl, Mr Bull is a bit bigger than you!
Lisl: You know how careful I usually am, Chris
LOL, Lisl. I love when someone can have a sense of humor like this, even if it's real!
Lisl: Well, I couldn't really say we hadn't been warned, Ginnie

Oh, I know such a situation. The bulls are not to underestimatated.
Lisl: You are right, Philine. And cows, too, can be a problem

Je ne m'y risquerai pas...
Lisl: I will certainly be more careful next time!!

Hahah!!! Luckily. I've had no adverse encounters with bovines but I do know that some people will not even enter a field with them.
Lisl: I am quite nervous myself. I lead a lot of walks and always have an alternative route ready should we encounter something problematical!
I bet that stopped you laughing!
Lisl: It stopped us in our tracks for just a moment..........
Well it's does seem rather funny Lisl, unless you really are caught out.
Lisl: Exactly, Chad
Luckily!
Lisl: Very much so, Marie

I walk past a sign daily. It claims that the Doberman can reach the gate in 3 seconds and can I do it faster. The difference is that the bull will probably run through the fence and the Dobie will be stopped by the fence.
Lisl: You are right - I often visualise a bull crashing through a fence or wire
That would be enough to put Maureen and me off.
Lisl: It made us laugh very nervously, Brian
As a young teen, my friends and I were chased by a bull. I'll never forget it as I ripped my new school pants. Thanks (ha ha ha) for the memories.
Lisl: Not very nice memories, Mary! I'm glad you could run faster than the bull!

Now you get me confused..... these signs are a warning and you ignored that????? I never knew you were on the Olympic team for running wink
Great sign and impressive bull.
Lisl: English sense of humour, Astrid! There was a 100 to one chance that it was GENUINE!
I wouldn't want to test its jokiness...
Lisl: I won't next time, Larry!
