Brilliant!

How old would this be, Lisl?
Lisl: I guess 18th Century, Ray
I love old signs like this. Wonderful.
Lisl: The road has been made up so any times, the bottom place-name has been obliterated
I love this! It must be so wonderful to come across one of these!
Lisl: I find them fascinating, Elizabeth

What does mean the XI - or this is only the half milestone?
Lisl: The destination at the bottom of the milestone is now hidden after the road has been made up many times

Lisl: Spot on, Philine!
Great find Lisl, I love these mile posts.
Lisl: And they are all over this part of the world - I must collect some of the more unusual ones
You find such wonderful things that do not even exist here in the New World.
Lisl: I can imagine that, Mary - it can make photography very inteersting
This is a great find, I obviously go round with my eyes shut a lot of the time!
Lisl: I think you see the wider vista, Brian - two different ways of looking, both good!
