Lisl: This is the weir downstream, from where I live
Catching up... I'm definitely enjoying your local walk.
Lisl: I am pleased, Jacquelyn - please stick with it!
Excellent mix of water textures, Elisabeth....If textures is possible smile
Lisl: And why not? Thank you, Frank
i really like the cascade over the the steps, Lisl
Lisl: I was quite surprised by the result, Ayush
That is gorgeous. The bird looks so calm amid that turmoil.
Lisl: He was an extra that I didn't really want in my picture. I think he had been injured as he was away from the others and was there for several days
Wonderful image, Lisl!!
Lisl: Thank you kindly, Elizabeth

Looks just the day for a paddle. Did you join in? After a hot summers walk, to find such a stream is very refreshing on the feet especially int he mountains.
Lisl: I do agree, but this was on a rather slippery weir, Alan

Must make a pleasant noise!
Lisl: It does rather, thank you, Anne
Isn't it lovely to stand or sit and watch water continually flowing over a weir?
Lisl: It is, Chad - quite compelling, too
I love the way the water changes from a dark almost flowing metal like quality to sparkling noisy water
Lisl: Thank you, Bill - what an odd effect it is

Take your boots off and dangle your feet in the rushing water.
Lisl: And why not?
superbe!!! amitiés
Lisl: Merci bien
A visitor from Canada, Lisl. You made a beautiful portrait of her and her surroundings.
Lisl: Yes, a real Canada Goose! Thank you, Mary
The change in texture of the water according to what its flowing over is very attractive. The duck doesn't seem quite sure whether to take a slide down the fall or not.
Lisl: I would have been happy witoit the livestock, Brian

Don't you love these small joys. I am so glad that you have this at your fingertips. Fabulous picture and I love that little daredevil.
Lisl: Nice comment, thank you, Astrid
such beautiful colours Lisl... will you send that Canada Goose back over the pond to our lake... i can hear them coming up from the south some days... then they turn around and head back down....
our lake is still frozen over....petersmile
Lisl: Poor Canada Geese. They will land soon, I am sure
Lovely tumbling water! I like the duck, too.
Lisl: Thank you, Tom, a favourite view of mine on this walk
the falls look gigantic till I see the bird...
Lisl: Only little ones - just a weir, Larry
