The sign suggests they are not fully committed to their mascot at this point, Lisl.
Lisl: Don't quite understand, Ray?
Looks like good eatin'
Lisl: I have never tried, as it is a bit of a novelty here
It makes my mouth water Lisl.
Lisl: You have obviously tasted wild boar, Chad?
No wonder they are wild!
Lisl: No wonder. They have been churning up football pitches int he Forest of Dean
A great sign, isn't that!
Lisl: I rather liked it, Elizabeth

Jolie affiche, j'aime bien le bouc.
Lisl: Merci beaucoup, Martine. I don't think he sold goat's meat! Perhaps it is a horned sheep
That Boar looks far too cheerful Lisl
Lisl: He doesn't know what's coming for him, Bill
I'd definitely take a stab at that, Lisl. smile
Lisl: I bet you would, Ginnie. I will have to see what I can do next time (remind me!)

I wonder what that sheep is doing on the sign.... is that like the wolf in sheep cloths (Dutch saying) Love the sign though. It looks like he is smiling.
Lisl: Perhaps the butcher is trying to say that he sells mutton (lamb), too

Nice sign.
Lisl: Very attractive sign, I thought
Une affiche curieuse et interssante .., je ne mange ni le sanglier ni le mouton ...
Bonne journée
Lisl: Perhaps you are a vegetarian, Claudine?

And possibly lamb and mutton, too? I believe that boar meat is very tasty; I must try some next time I see any for sale.
Lisl: I have been thinking that, too
I do not like the taste of the meat of wild boar but I like very much this advertising sign for the tasting
Lisl: I have never tasted it, Marie
I like the loose style of the sign painter. I find the sign amusing. I did not know they sold joints in England, only Amsterdam.
Lisl: We have joints of meat, which really means a hunk of meat with a bone in
I know what the sign means but the first thing I thought of when I saw Joints was the same as Mary.
Lisl: What does that tell me about you, Brian??
Very tasty, I'm sure!
Lisl: I'll let you know - next time I will buy some
I will take a steak, please.
Lisl: I think I may try next time I am in the area

Forsaken the lamb for wild boar and I am not sure what they do with joints. In some corners they are smoked by pot users smile I must say, trying to look into the eyes of that boar, it seems somewhat spaced out.

But chops and steaks would make a good fare over the weekend.
Lisl: Love your first comment!

It looks like the wild boar has his beady eye on you ;-)
Lisl: Perhaps it's a good job he isn't real, Cherie!
