Very strange shot, Lisl...full of interesting stuff.
Lisl: A most surprising subject, Ray, thank you
Very nice. I even like the flaking paint.
Lisl: You do - the front of the building was very run down
This looks fascinating Lisl, does the earlier date reflect the age of the figures I wonder.
Lisl: I am pretty sure it does, Chad
Not the most attractive thing to have above your door...
Lisl: It would look very odd above mine

The dates at the top, if that is what they are, intrigue me Lisl
Lisl: I interpret it as either a rebuild or a new facade in 1883, but using also the date of the original house figures
A sadly neglected building with a story to tell
Lisl: I bet it has, Bill. This is in Weymouth of all places

Seen better days by the look of it. The "1580" appear to have been written at a much later time with a felt tip pen. The figures don't look too happy.
Lisl: It would be interesting to know if the inners of the house are 16th Century
What curious pediment supports!
Lisl: Very strange - I have seen similar on Elizabethan fireplaces
One of those 'seen better days' places I suspect.
Lisl: I would have liked to have seen the original house, Brian
Makes me think of the old days of coal fires and soot in the air.
Lisl: This is an old property near the south coast - no doubt at all that it once had coal fires
jolis détails! amitiés
Lisl: A strange entrance to a house!

They look a little creepy...
Lisl: They do, even though they are worn. I bet they always looked creepy
I think I like the flaking paint best!
Lisl: Flaking on quite a scale, Elizabeth

De longue date... je me demande un peu quelle est la fonction de cette habitation ?
Lisl: Apart from the odd frontage, it is a normal terraced town house
I love decay...
Lisl: You would get a lot from this facade, Larry
