Lisl: She really was beautiful, and completely relaxed, Peter
Beautiful shot! What a wonderful thing!

How nice to see Lisl: hope you didn't get too close
Lisl: Not me, Chris. But I was concerned about dogs off leads

She looks like she has become one with her nest, Lisl, and is not at all disturbed by what's going on around her. Then again, she may just be dead tired, like most mothers-to-be!
Lisl: She was completely relaxed, Ginnie - we passed her on two occasions and she was just like this

a wonderful observation - and the swan is really peacefully asleep -Psssst!
Lisl: I felt she was in a very vulnerable place, Philine, but she was unaware of it

Good photo I your Swans are like ours the partner is close and can get very aggressive if you get to near
Lisl: Thank you, vintage. I like to think her partner was near in case of dogs off leads
Fascinating image Lisl & nice tones!
Lisl: Thank you, Fred - she remained completely motionless for the whole time I watched her

The wonders of nature Lisl well captured as usual.
Lisl: Thank you, pedroeric - like you, I feel that common thigs like this are really wonders of nature, yet so many pass by.......
What a lovely scene lisl.
Lisl: It was, Chad, but a niggle in the background made me aware that she was vulnerable there
How wonderful! Will you be using the path again? It would be nice to see follow up shots.
Lisl: Yes, Mary - either in the Autumn or Spring next year - but too late for follow-up shots of the nest, I regret
A fine capture, I wonder how many eggs she has.
Lisl: I can't be there to count, more's the pity, Brian
This is such a tender & sweet image, Lisl. I hope she will stay safe and not be disturbed by the dogs off their leads.
Lisl: My fervent hope as well, Beverly
Very graceful Elisabeth, almost melting into the ground
Lisl: I think it looks like this as she blends so well with the down in her nest

Gorgeous image, Lisl.

Is this the Mum or the dad?
Lisl: For some reason I thought it was the Mum, but I am not sure if they do all the incubating
