Very colourful, Lisl!
Lisl: I think this is so well worked, Ray - imagine having that talent in threads
Wow. I wish I could travel to Salisbury.
Lisl: They have some excellent exhibitions in the Cathedral there. I have recently joined the "Friends"

This is amazing tapestry. I know you had a wonderful time here.

Is this the lady?
Lisl: Certainly is, Astrid

Ah oui... une référence culturelle bien connue et assez osée dans sa conception.
Lisl: It is quite an amazing tapestry, with so much allegory
Not someone I'd want to mess with, Lisl!
Lisl: I think she would give us short shrift, Ginnie!

I like her golden goblet and tiara Lisl. "What do you think of this erection behind me, Babel?"
Lisl: This obviously made an impression, Chad!

Whilst everything else is broken she seems oblivious
Lisl: I think she ended up as that heap of bones in the corner, Chris

Oh, the wh**e of Babylon - all has broken! Let's hope that we never experience such a situation! I had to correct my word!
Lisl: OK, Philine!
Etonnant comme dessin.
Lisl: I agree, Martine. I was quite taken aback by the real thing

The figure depicted is very much fitting for the title of the piece. No doubt that the next time I will be in Salisbury will probably be late November knowing my luck (although I will be passing through there later on on my way to Tisbury).
Lisl: It is worth making a special journey, Alan. All the tapestries are very striking. Tisbury, eh?
Un beau travail de tapisserie !
Cette exposition doit être bien interessante !
Lisl: You would love it, Claudine

Interesting!
Lisl: And different, thank you, Anne
She doesn't look very happy. Perhaps she failed the audition for Strictly?
Lisl: She would look good on Strictly!
I visited this beautiful cathedral of Salisbury and nevertheless I did not notice this completely original creation. Thank you for the sharing
Lisl: It is part of the current exhibition, Marie - just on until November
A very good item of work isn't it.
Lisl: Beautifullu worked, Brian
What a work of art. The devil snakes are powerful as is the skeleton.
Lisl: Those snakes are rather creepy
Interesting imagery.
Lisl: And nicely worked
Some middle ages inspiration there!
Lisl: It certainly has inspired an amazing work, Tom

Oh my! She is entertaining the red dragon from Revelations.
Lisl: Quite a risky business, Louis
What a beautiful tapestry... and a sad statement...
Lisl: It is - I will send you the write up separately, Elizabeth
