Fine shot, Lisl...sheep prefer slopes to flat ground.
Lisl: Thank you, Ray - I didn't know that, though of course all to the North of here is sheep country, and that is very hilly

Well I hope you have a good time Lisl and will be as happy as these spring lambs
Lisl: That is a very kind wish, thank you, Chris

A delightful scene to mark your week "away". I bet these little woolly friends are much bigger now since this was taken.
Lisl: You are right, Alan - these were take on 3rd May

Great shot.... and have a wonderful time 'wandering' around and see some beautiful things.
Lisl: Thank you, Astrid - not too far, probably Salisbury will be the furthest point
What a delightful picture. Although we usually have at least two weeks away each year we try and visit places nearer to home quite a lot but there are still many places not too far away we still haven't been to, one day hopefully, enjoy yoruselves.
Lisl: It's goo to explore one's own environs, too
well have a great week and take lots of pictures to share with us Lisl....petersmile
Lisl: I hope so, thank you, Peter
We call it a staycation or as they used to say, playing tourist. Have a swell time.
Lisl: Thanks, Mary - started today with a visit to a Cotswold town to "do" the Charity Shops and have a pub lunch
Adorable aren't they!! What a sweet photo!
You enjoy your time - I'm so excited for you to see "those places"!
Lisl: Thank you, Elizabeth. They certainly were very sweet
they seem quite comfortable in your presence, Lisl. i think i have a long list of places under the category you described.
Lisl: You will need a lot of time off then, Ayush!
Have a wonderful holiday!
Lisl: Thank you, Michael - but it is just so HOT!
Good for you, Lisl. Sometimes we really need to get out into our own backyard to SEE what's around us! I do love the sleepy sheep (or hot?) you've left with us.
Lisl: Just hope the hot weather doesn't preclude too much, Ginnie
Enjoy the trips, Lisl!
Lisl: Back now, Tom, but thank you

The best catch-ups are in your own backyard. It is also a challenge to a photographer. It is my experience that visiting photographers tend to see more opportunities than I do in my own backyard.
Lisl: You are so right, Louis. I have been interested in looking at Richard Trim's pictures of Bath
